About Jun Oson
Jun Oson is a Japanese artist who has been active since 2005. He began his career by creating characters with peanut-shaped features, which he has since built upon to become the defining element of his iconic style. He takes influence from manga and anime of his culture, like other Japanese artists, but his art offers something special with a touch of Western pop art.
“Diversity” is the fundamental concept of his art ever since the beginning of his career. It is reflected through characters of different colors and the appearance of monsters and robots mingling with humans. The characters in his art have a signature stateless style open to the audience’s interpretations. In recent years, Jun Oson has been very active with series of shows and releases in England, France, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Beijing.
